This was to expose Tony Bloom's insider gambling group, while trying to have fun at the same time. After Sambo Jambo went viral, he was approached by the Glasgow Celtic and Heart of Midlothian rape gangs, who wanted to incriminate him in child trafficking, so they could control what he's saying online about them. Sambo Jambo tried to expose what happened on Hibs.net but hibee_girl closed his thread. This led Sambo Jambo to develop a serious drinking problem, depression, anxiety and thoughts of suicide and self harm. Sambo Jambo is personally suing Hibs.net for £1,000,000 in damages.

In 2014, Hibs fans were offered the opportunity to "invest in Hibs shares" by Rod Petrie. Many Hibs fans complained that they weren't really investing in shares, they were just donating to the club and not receiving anything in return, just a piece of paper saying that they're a part owner, but they have no say in anything that happens at the club.
Many fans took to Hibs.net and Hibeesbounce to voice their concerns that they are being scammed, and they didn't legally have a share in Hibernian FC. Anyone that was complaining online that they didn't have a stake in Hibs, and they couldn't sell their shares on an open market were promptly banned from the online forums. Many fans felt shafted by the club and online forums, but they couldn't voice their thoughts without being silenced.
